Wisteria is a poisonous plant. People might be sensitive to the chemical constituents released from the foliage of Wisteria. Otherwise heavily scented flowers of the plant can also trigger allergy attacks to people suffering from asthma. Wisteria is one of them so in this regard too it might be allergic to few people.
It is very difficult to say if you are allergic to Wisteria or not as there are not very specific symptoms to prove the allery reactions. It will be better to get yourself tested for it before jumping to any conclusion. You might also be allergic to strong scent as Wisteria could create problems for you as it is very scented.
