Benefits of Vajrasana:

Method:

Bend your legs at the knees. Now place your heels at the side of the hips in such a way that your thigh rests on the legs and buttocks rest on the heels. Stretch arms and place the hands on the knees. Keep both the knees close to each other. Keep trunk, neck and head in a straight line by sitting in an erect position. One could hold on this posture for a bit long time due to its simplicity.

Note: The knee and ankles could ache in the beginning but the pain would subside with regular practice.
