Acne treatment through Aromatherapy Acne is most common skin problem which primarily affects when people are in their teens. It is mainly caused by the hormonal imbalances occurring during puberty and menopause. Anxiety and stress could also cause acne problems or could aggravate it.

To go for aromatherapy as method of treatment for acne one should include proper diet, cleanliness and exercise as one of the part in the treatment process. Oils used for aromatherapy requires proper cleaning, toning and moisturizing the affected areas. Oils used for the treatment of acne include:

Aromatherapy treatment for acne: For normal skin mix 50 ml of Soya oil, 6 drops of wheat germ oil and 10 drops of essential oil. For sensitive skin mix together 25 ml of Soya oil, 25 ml of almond oil, 6 drops of wheat germ oil and 10 drops of essential oil and apply it to the skin directly.

Bath affected skin with pure water containing 2 drops each of lavender, juniper and cajeput oil. Tea tree oil stops infection and could be applied directly on acne spots with a cotton bud.
