Plucking hair removalThreading, Plucking or Tweezing are hair removal methods primarily used for eyebrows, odd hairs around nipples and hairs on upper lips or chin. This method does not increase hair growth and do not make hairs coarser. Threading, Plucking or Tweezing could be however painful.

Preparation: Wipe the area where you want to use the above method to make the target skin surface numb. The skin surface should not be wet as in case of threading wet hairs might stick to skin making the process tedious. You could apply talcum powder to loosen the hairs.

Method:

  1. Use this method if you have only few hairs to be removed like eyebrows or upper lips area etc.
  2. Plucking should be performed only on eyebrow hairs.
  3. Pluck the hairs in the direction of hair growth.
  4. Perform the above method in good light.
  5. Magnifying mirror helps in the process by reducing the chances of error.
  6. Pluck one hair at a time in case of plucking
