Home Remedies for Smelly Feet

Are you ashamed of pulling your shoes off your feet in the public places? Need to keep your shoes along with your socks in a closet just to avoid embarrassment? There is no need to do this any further.
Here are some home remedies to avoid a stinking feet!
- Wear some light and airy slippers during the summer and try to avoid shoes.
- Try soaking your feet in a warm water bucket by mixing some salt in it.
- Regularly use scrubbers for washing your feet and prevent Callus which can cause smelly feet.
- Dry your feet and apply some powder before wearing shoes.
- Washing nails regularly using nail brush can also prevent the bad odor from your feet.
- Avoid synthetic and nylon socks. Use cotton sock which can soak the sweat.
- Borax is known to kill bacteria causing odor. Dust the inner parts of your shoes with 20 Mule Team Borax. After the powder disappears, dust your shoes again. This will keep off the bad smell for some time.
- Apply some hand sanitizer on each foot and after the feet are dry, wear a pair of thin cotton socks. Take a second pair of sock and put some foot powder inside the socks and wear the second pair over the first one. Anti-germicidal in the hand-sanitizer will kill the odor creating bacteria and the powder will wick the moisture away from your feet. Two pairs of socks are required because it is required to keep the powder off your feet.
- Black tea therapy is another popular one. The tannic acid present in the tea is capable of killing odor creating bacteria and closes the pores. Boil two tea bags in a print of water for about 15 minutes and then you need to add two quarts of cool water. You need to soak your feet in the cool solution for 30 minutes and continue doing this for one week. This will prevent smelly feet.
- You need to take a 10 minute foot bath only with water. After that, adding some bath beads you need to message your feet for 20-30 minutes in that. This will keep off the foot odor for at least 3 weeks. If this, you think to be time consuming then, you can apply some perfume at the bottom of your feet twice a day. This helps you to avoid the stinking smell throughout the day.
- Urinate on your feet in the shower. This may sound a bit nasty but actually it works. This happens because urine contains urea which is an anti-fungal chemical which wipes out odor creating bacteria and fungi.
