    Jackfruit has various health benefits, which comes in Ayurvedic fruits category. This fruit is considered to be delicious, nutritious, satisfying and cool. The fruit develops strength, phlegm and flesh in the body.

    Jackfruit in called Aamashyafal, Skandhaphala, Kantakiphala and Panasa in Sanskrit. It belongs to Moraceae, a mulberry family and its botanical name is Artocarpus.
