    Running with worn out shoes might increase the risk of injuries for runners. When you run with the worn out shoes then your shoes eventually looses the shock absorbing capacity and also stability. When the shock absorbing capacity reduces then the pressure over your feet dramatically increases. One of the best way of preventing such injuries is to replace your shoes with the new ones.

    Stability and cushioning is provided to the shoes by mid sole layer present in the shoes. Functional ability of the shoes will be lost when shoe wears out. Risk of injury increases when there is loss of cushioning in the shoes. Depending on the style of running, body weight, surface of the run and distance of your run it is advised you to replace your running shoes.

    Depending on the mileage of your run, you need to replace your running shoes. Most of the runners who run for a longer distances replace their running shoes for every 3months.

    One of the best way which you can find whether to replace your shoes or not is place your old shoes on the floor and look them from behind. When the mid sole is worn out then the shoes seems to be leaning one side. Now you might be thinking as how to spot a worn out mid sole.

    Tips to Spot Worn out Mid Sole
    Its easy to spot a worn out mid sole. There are a few tips which are helpful in spotting a worn out mid sole.

    1. Attention towards soles
      Pay attention to the soles of your shoes. When your heels get stressed due to shoes then you have to look for the soles of the shoes.
    2. Ceases at the Heel
      A worn out mid sole shoes will have ceases at the heel. This is one of the common way which most of the runners adopt in spotting a worn out mid sole.
    3. Twist the Shoes
      Shoes that are having a proper sole might not easily twist when twisted. When twisted if your shoes are getting easily twisted, then you need to replace your old shoes with the new ones.
    4. Try Out with New Shoes
      If you are not able spot a worn out mid sole then you can wear on new pair of shoes and feel the difference of the old shoes and the new ones.
