    Angina or chest pain is a common symptom of coronary artery disease that can generally result from insufficient flow of blood to the heart. If undetected (often mistaken for indigestion), angina can lead to partial paralysis or heart attack.

    Natural remedies for unstable angina include:

    • Natural Remedies for Angina with Lemon: Experts suggest that lemon can prevent clogging of blood vessels by cholesterol. This may help in preventing angina. You might consider including a lemon in your diet regularly. Lemon can be taken along with salad or one can make a fresh lemon drink
    • Natural Remedies for Angina with Basil Leaves: The harmful effects of free radicals on heart can be greatly reduced by use of Basil leaves. These leaves also reduces the blood cholesterol level. In an empty stomach you could take 1 tsp of fresh basil leaves juice along with 1 ts of honey. This should be taken on empty stomach
    • Natural Remedies for Angina with Garlic: It is suggested that garlic can also prevent cholesterol accumulation in the blood vessels, thereby preventing angina. You may take 2 cloves of raw garlic in an empty stomach everyday
    • Treatment of Angina with Honey and Lemon: You can take a fresh lemon juice along with a teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water. Lemon with honey can clear your blood vessels by reducing cholesterol accumulation, thus treating angina
    • Treatment of Angina with Hawthorn Leaves: It is suggested that hawthorn can cause dilation of coronary vessels. This can promote blood flow and check symptoms of angina. Before taking hawthorn, you may want to consult with your doctor as there can be possible side effects. You may take hawthorn in the form of capsule or liquid extract along with meals and then drink a glass of water

    • Squeezing or Constricting Sensation (in or near the chest)
    • Shortness of Breath

    • Cycling
    • Aerobic Exercise
