    Nicotene And The Adrenaline Rush

    Nicotine is the drug in 0.6—3.0% of dry weight of tobacco leaves. In its roots a process called biosynthesis takes place through which tobacco creates nicotine .Irrespective of someone takes in nicotene- smokes, chews, sniffs tobacco, he or she is affected by it.

    Is Nicotine Harmful?

    Yes, it is. If 40—60 mg (0.5-1.0 mg/kg)of nicotene is inhaled it can kill an adult human being. It’s a toxic alkaloid substance. So what it means is, if one takes a drop of raw nicotine; he will definitely die due to poisoning. Nicotine is, thus, used as pesticides for plants.
    What is Adrenaline?

    It’s a hormone produced by the adrenalin gland which gives us the feeling of quick action in emergency conditions. It rushes blood with oxygen to the brain are needed to act in that situation thereby cut the blood supply to the other non emergency body processes like digestion. And one get a feeling of thrill called “Adrenalin rush”. For example when we rush to catch a bus or train. We feel the adrenalin rush in our body.

    So What Is The Connection Between Nicotene and Adrenaline?

    Nicotine alters our mood by releasing adrenalin from the body. It gives one the feeling of stimulation and makes him feel energetic. Adrenaline doesn’t harm our body but the nicotene that stimulates it surely is. Smokers enjoy this adrenaline rush realising little that this stimulation is the result of restricting blood to his heart and increase in blood pressure. Nicotene is a carcinogenic toxic substance which not only harms the body but also creates a dependency on the drug and thus it should be avoided by a person by all means.
