Runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, sneezing? Maybe these are the symptoms caused due to these indoor allergens.   Pollen, pet dander, dust, mold are some of the airborne allergens which can cause allergies. To get rid of indoor allergens, an air purifier is a good option. An air purifier filters the allergens and can reduce your allergies to a great extent.

Why To Choose Air Purifier — Allergy Relief?
In spite of cleaning and washing, the allergens can linger around in the air. Pollen season can bring home pollen through window or through people coming from outside. Pets also produce dander which can be airborne.

An air purifier can absorbs these tiny allergens and makes the air allergen-free. In fact, air purifiers can help in reducing the allergens in the room to about 60% or more. This would mean less allergy symptoms for the sufferers.

Types of Air Purifier for Allergy Relief:

    • HEPA air purifier : HEPA (High energy particulate air) air purifier contains HEPA filters which can filter out 99.7% of allergens from the air. They are most effective and they come in both portable and room-air purifier forms
    • Electrostatic precipitators:   These devices filter the allergens using an electrostatic charge. The allergens are deposited on a electrostatic filter present in the device

Room air purifiers can be kept in the bedroom or in the room where most allergens are suspected. Whole-house air purifiers are a better option if you have a central heating system.   Portable air purifiers can be shifted from one room to another. They can also be used at your workplace comfortably.

Air purifiers for home use are a good choice to prevent allergies. However, it is important to clean, vacuum regularly as the allergens can get into the carpets, beds etc. HEPA filters can also be used with vacuum cleaners to minimize the allergens.
