    Allergy Related Fatigue

    Allergy can affect the quality of life of the person suffering from it. When you are suffering from allergies, you are tired and irritable. This makes you experience fatigue during the day when you should be alert and energetic.

    This article will explain some causes and symptoms of allergy related fatigue. This develops when allergy weakens the immune system creating fatigue.

    Symptoms of Allergy Related Fatigue

    • tiredness
    • bad mood
    • irritability
    • lack of concentration
    • restlessness

    Causes for Allergy Related Fatigue

    • Anemia
    • Anemia causes fatigue symptoms, especially in women. Anemia is an iron deficiency in the body. Anemia can weaken the immune system which causes the body to become more susceptible to suffer from allergies.

    • Blood sugar
    • Blood sugar regulates the way our energy level rises and falls. This is why it controls the amount of fatigue we experience. If there is nor enough fueling the body, it is possible for the immune system to become weak and susceptible to attacks such as allergies.

    • Lack of sleep
    • One obvious cause for not being fully awake is lack of sleep. Therefore, it is important to crate the right circumstances to sleep that there would be no tossing and turning. Allergies can be the result of constant insomnia and fatigue because fatigue lessens the ability of the immune system to resist allergic symptoms.

    • Exercise
    • This is a good way to help with symptoms of fatigue and symptoms of allergies. By getting enough exercise during the day, you ensure good sleep during the night. Also exercise is a good way of creating a wakeful and alert state, when suffering from fatigue.

    • Food allergies
    • These can be behind your fatigue. Allergies drain energy from the body and this is why they create fatigue as well as sleeping difficulties. Allergy testing can help to find out the problem food. Also careful examination of the foods you eat can help to pinpoint the cause.

    • Shift work sleep disorder
    • This makes it more difficult to find sleep because shift works does not allow for normal sleeping times. This is how fatigue develops in shift workers.
