    Hypoallergenic Pillows To Prevent Allergies

    People suffering from allergies can have instances of disturbed sleep. The allergens present in the pillows can cause runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing and thus affecting the quality of sleep.     What are Hypoallergenic Pillows?

    The hypoallergenic pillow has covers which prevent the entry of allergens. Cotton covers or synthetic covers which are tightly woven are used. The interior of the pillow is filled with a hypoallergenic material made of polyester or wool. Altogether these pillows give a good protection against the allergens.

    The thread count of the pillow is also high( more than 220) which prevents the entry of allergens into the pillow. Hypoallergenic pillows are also easily washable and dryable. As regular washing and drying is necessary, a hypoallergenic pillow is designed to stand the stress of regular washing.

    A hypoallergenic pillow offers protection against dust mites, pet dander, and mold. So, if you have any of these allergies, get yourself a hypoallergenic pillows. Many hotels also provide hypoallergenic pillow for those suffering with allergies.

    • Wash the bedding in hot water to get rid of the dust mites,
    • Use hypoallergenic pillow covers
    • Use hypoallergenic bedding
    • Keep your pet away from your bedroom
