    How To Heal A Black Eye?

    Black eye is the condition which arises generally after any accident. This condition results in the collection of blood and fluids in the surrounding areas of the eye. Hence, the affected part gets swelled up, turns black and pains severely.

    The healing of this black eye can be done by rubbing the effected part with ice. The application of ice will remove the clotting. This will reduce the swelling and pain around the eyes.

    Symptoms Of Black Eyes:
    Some of the symptoms of black eye can be summarized in the following points:

    • Pain and swelling around the eyes is the major symptom of black eye.
    • In the initial stage swelling is noticed which can be followed by the discoloration in the same area.
    • Slowly and steadily, the discoloration increases along with the swelling. A dark violet colored swelled portion is now seen.
    • Headache could also be there.

    Some serious symptoms that can be noticed are:

    • Loss of vision
    • Double vision
    • Blurred vision
    • Movement of one eye becomes difficult
    • Continuous headache
    • Blood can be seen on the surface of the eyes

    Home Remedies To Heal A Black Eye:
    Some of the home remedies which can be applied in a black eye can be:

    • Application of ice on the affected part at least three — four times in a day
    • Packs of frozen vegetables can also be applied on the affected area.
    • Both ice and packs of frozen vegetables must be kept on the effected area for few minutes before removing.
    • Intake of vitamin C in large quantity will help in healing
    • Protect the area from further injuries by wearing glasses.
    • Apply creams having vitamin K on them.
