    How To Insert And Remove Your Lenses

    It is very important that one take proper care when putting on their contact lenses. Contact lenses are very delicate and they should be handled carefully.

    Here are some instructions on how you should insert and wear on your lenses.

    1)  Lenses will be of different number and type based on the need for each eye. So there will be separate case for the right and the left eye. Firstly, pick out one of the lenses either the right or left, pour in some lens solution into it, place it on your palm and clean it with your thumb.

    2)  Now scoop up the lens with your index finger and bring it close t your eye. The lens should be opened up and be in the form of a cup, then only can you place the lens in the eye.

    3)  Use your left hand and the remaining fingers of the right hand to pull up the lower and upper eyelid and then place the lens in the eye.

    4)  Look straight and then gently place the lens in the eyes, roll your eyes up and down and then blink so that the lens gets properly fitted in the eye.

    5)  Follow the same procedure for the next eye.

    How to Remove the Lens.

    1)  Wash the lens case in hot water, and let it air dry.

    2)  Wash your hands with an antibacterial soap, and wipe it out with a tissue. Make sure there are no tissue material or dust on your fingers.

    3)  Once your hand is dry, pull your eyelids apart and place your index finger in the eyes.

    4)  Look up and gently slide the lens down, with the help of your thumb slowly squeeze out the lens from your eyes.

    Follow these measures and most importantly keep the instructions of your doctor also in mind and take care of your lenses.
