    How to Lose Thigh Fat

    The hormone estrogen in women is responsible for storage of fat in hips, buttocks and thighs. On reaching the menopause stage, the production of estrogen hormone in the body declines. Only then the excess fat from these regions relocate to the waists in women. This article tries to know how women in the prime of their youth can lose thigh fat.

    How to Lose Thigh Fat Naturally?

    Fat in itself is required more by females than males. This requirement is owing to the capacity of the former to conceive. But it is the location of the fat in the body which distorts the body image of a female much to her disappointment. There are certain foods and exercises which can naturally bring down the fat levels in women. They are:

    Oatmeal: This food is ideal for breakfast as all the nutrients required by the body are present in it in exact proportions. However, it is recommended to replace the usage of sugar with natural honey or other sweetening products.

    Yams: It is a great source of complex carbohydrate. The benefit of this form of carbohydrate is that the energy stored in it is released slowly into the body. This does not allow the glucose level to shoot up immediately. As energy is utilized as per the needs of the body, there is no requirement for the conversion of excess energy into fat for later use.

    Proteins: There are several dietary sources of protein which are not high in fat content. for instance, selecting fish over meat is a good choice.

    Physical Activities: Jogging, cycling, stretching exercises and yoga go a long way in toning the thighs muscles by reducing the excess fat in this region.

    It is always useful to stick to these natural ways to lose thigh fat instead of trying surgical techniques like Liposuction or taking anti obesity drugs.
