    Quit Trying to Quit Smoking

    Most experts agree that quitting smoking is difficult because it is 90% of psychological addiction rather than 10% of physical addiction. Trying to quit smoking is not easy and one needs to prepare himself or herself before deciding to quit smoking. It is really not a question of wanting but doing things to quit smoking.

    Smoking cessation programs are effective only when the smoker realizes his or her reasons for having started smoking. A smoker can therefore successfully quit if he realizes why he or she needs to quit. Trying is not the key but learning to cope with the various nicotine withdrawal symptoms is. So a smoker needs to fight the psychological needs more than the physical need of smoking.

    • Nicotine water, inhalers, sprays, etc

    Self hypnosis and acupuncture are highly recommended for boosting one’s morale and helping a smoker quit smoking emotionally and psychologically.

    Self Hypnosis is an approach meant to reduce your psychological dependence on smoking. Some aspects of the self hypnosis therapies include emotional training that teaches you to quit smoking without regret. The techniques also prepare you for quitting smoking and quitting without regrets.

    Self hypnosis is therefore a way of controlling your subconscious mind to stop smoking. The techniques focus on building your will power against smoking. Reported to be very effective, the self hypnosis therapy is highly recommended for quitting smoking.

    Acupuncture

    Another alternative cure for quitting smoking is the ancient Chinese acupuncture therapy. An individual smoker is assessed by an acupuncturist on the grounds of — health, patterns of smoking, pulse rate, etc.

    Acupuncture basically deals with techniques that will help you cope with your withdrawal symptoms, irritability, anxiety, etc. It is a process of relaxing and detoxifying your body off all impurities.

    Quit trying to quit smoking by simply engaging in fruitful remedies which will help you quit smoking effectively.
