    What is weed?
Weed is an illegal and addictive drug. It is known by a number of other names like marijuana, cannabis, hashish and many more, depending on the region they come from as well as the form of the drug. It can be smoked, chewed or even consumed as tea.

    Smoking weed in a pipe
Weed can be smoked in different ways, one of it being smoking it using a tobacco pipe. This form of using weed is almost as popular as smoking a joint, like a cigarette.

Pipes come in different varieties, but are almost identical in their basic working mechanism. They usually have a bowl which is filled with burning weed and is covered by metallic screen. This is attached to a pipe through which you can inhale the smoke and get a high. It is similar to using a straw. They usually give less of a high as compared to a joint but are nevertheless popular. They use less of weed as compared to a joint.

Bongs are pipes similar to a hookah. They have the same mechanism as the other pipes but before the smoke reaches you, it passes through water where it is cooled and cleaned of some of the impurities. Just like other pipes, it gives less of a high as compared to a joint. It does not give a sudden high but a more controlled and slow effect.

Other than this, weed can also be smoked as a joint, similar to a cigarette, or even chewed, although not many prefer this form of usage.
