    Common Sports Nutrition Mistakes made by Sports Persons and few solutions to the common mistakes are mentioned below.

    1. Lack of Proper Consumption of Fluids for their Run
      When there are no proper fluid levels in your body then there are chances for dehydration. So, this is one reason runners have to be careful when it comes to the hydration levels of the body. When you run for a long distance your body looses lot of water so it is your responsibility to refuel your fluid levels in your body. This can be done by consuming fluids before and after workouts. When you consume fluids then you can gain the fluids levels after your workouts.
    2. Lack of Consumption of Proteins
      Lack of consumption of proteins can be considered as one of the major cause for nutrition mistakes among the sports persons. A few of the runners do not pay attention to their proteins but, they give much attention to the carbohydrates. If this is done in a routine then there are chances for you to lack proteins.
    3. Lack of Proper food Consumption before and after Workouts
      When there is no proper food consumption then there are huge chances for you to face the risk of injuries. Runners and every sports person is recommended to consume proper and sufficient amount of foods that are fibrous and rich in proteins and nutrients. It is necessary to consume rich sources of proteins like meat, beans, nuts, whole grains and low fat milk.
    4. Lack of Iron
      Runners who go for heavy workouts might lack iron in their body. If you are feeling tired or restless very often then this can be due to lack of iron. When there is lack of iron in your body then you can overcome this problem by consuming Vitamin – C in regular diet. Oranges, berries, tomatoes and broccoli are rich sources of vitamin C.
    5. Avoiding Refueling after Workouts
      If you avoid refueling soon after your workouts then you might face risk of dehydration. This is one of the common problem faced by most of the sports persons. So, it is advisable to refuel your body with proper supplements after your workouts to remain hydrated.
