    Common Workout Mistakes Among Runners

    Are these mistakes there in your running?
    Each runner make some mistakes in his/her running career. There might be several mistakes that you might come across while running especially during the initial stages of running. But, you can avoid making these mistakes in your running if you are aware of the common mistakes in the running and the common workout mistakes.

    Common Workout Mistakes
    There are a few of the common workout mistakes that a few of the runners might make during their training period.

    • No quality in the Workouts
      A few runners might do heavy workouts with a number of sets of same exercise. When you go for number of sets of same exercise then you might be overly strained. A few of the runners go for only single set of each exercise but they maintain quality in their exercises. When there is quality in the workouts then you can avoid doing number of sets.
    • Over Estimating your workouts
      A few runners of the habit of running against time. Running against time is good for the runners but, estimating your workouts accordingly might not give you best results. Runners assume that they can burn the calories by running continuously for 30 minutes at a moderate pace. But, this assumption is not always true. One of the best way of burning the calories is to maintain consistency in your running. This is one of the reason runners are asked not to over estimate their workouts.
    • Working out in a Wrong Way
      Each runner has their own style of running. But, every runner must have awareness on their running style. A few of them might not have the idea on the initial start off for the running. Working out in a wrong way might stop you from leading a way towards reaching your goals.
    • Repeating Same Workout
      Doing common workouts repeatedly is not suggested in general. When you do common workouts repeatedly then you might not be able to adapt to any additional changes for your workouts. By doing common workouts, you might become efficient but, you might not gain flexibility for your workouts.
    • Using Improper Techniques
      A few of the runners might not know proper running techniques for their running event. Using improper techniques is one of the common mistake that most of the runners make at the initial stages of their running career.
