    When to Run?

adminBy adminApril 20, 2010003 Mins Read

There is no ideal time for running. Running is one such exercise which does not have time limits and constraints. You can run whenever you want, according to your own convenience and the nature of the job you are into.

So, you can always squeeze some time out of your busy schedule. Actually, afternoon time is the most ideal time for running. You don’t believe? Well it is true. Research has proved it. It goes against the popular belief that morning hours are best suited for running. So, no excuses are allowed regarding the availability of “right time”.

There is a false notion that exercises eat into one’s free time. The truth is contrary to this misconception. Exercise takes very little of your free time and more importantly enhances the quality of the rest of the free time that you spend.

So take your running seriously and schedule it with utmost care, giving it the sort of priority that you give to other important jobs. You need to consciously ensure that you stick to the habit of running.

    Running in the Morning

Wake up thirty minutes early. This will take care of the time you need for running. The advantage with morning running is that you should have completed the running for the day by the time you start your work, no matter how much busy schedule you have for the day ahead.

    Tips for Morning Running

    • Keep aside both the running and work clothes the previous night itself.
    • Prepare the day’s lunch, the night before.
    • Go for a timed coffee-maker.

    Running at work

If you are not an early bird you can run during afternoon also. As already mentioned, afternoon is the best time to run. Run either before or after your lunch. Join a health club or gym, near your workplace that has shower facility. If the lunch hour is too hectic to accommodate your running do it while commuting. Or else join a gym or health club on your way home. Just take a shower after you reach home and resume your other activities.

    Running During Evening Time

    Tips for Evening Running

Some people dislike running while commuting, due to heavy traffic and pollution that may be present on their way back home, though it is the best way of fitting in one’s running activity into one’s daily schedule.

The following tips may come in handy to enhance the quality of your evening or night running and get the best possible outcome out of it.

    • Do the treadmill while watching the TV.
    • Plan active activities along with your family and friends.
    • Run with a friend before or after your dinner. It takes care of your fitness as well as socializing needs.

    One Final Advice

Running is not a burden but an asset to your daily schedule. Look at running as an indispensable activity. Proper time management will help you in this regard.

So, what are you looking for? Go ahead. Run, run and run for a better tomorrow. Happy running.
