    Coffee Enema for Liver Detoxification

adminBy adminMarch 3, 2010002 Mins Read

Coffee enema is an effective way of detoxifying the liver. There is a low volume of enema in the sigmoid colon. There is a gap between the sigmoid colon and liver which is called entero-hepatic circulation system. When food is processed there are many toxins which are sent in to the liver. To reach the liver, these toxins have to pass through this passage. The chemicals which are sent to the liver have toxic substances, which the liver needs to detoxify. Coffee enema will increase the passing time of these substances. This will help the liver in taking much less time in detoxifying.

Coffee enema produces some enzymes, which help the duct to improve the transit of the chemicals. This caffeine is absorbed into the entero-hepatic and the liver duct and the bile duct are forced to go into the sigmoid colon and get eliminated there. The enzyme which is produced by the caffeine is called glutathione-S-transferase. This enzyme helps the pathways to the liver detoxification more smoother. As the coffee enema gets absorbed into the intestine there is no wastage of nutrients and minerals. Minerals and electrolytes are also saved as they are also absorbed into the intestine.

    Coffee Enema Usage:

    • Make a coffee concentrate, by boiling water and adding the coffee powder, and then collecting the concentrate.
    • Prepare the coffee enema formula. Add water in the coffee concentrate.
    • Hang the enema bag approximately 40-60 cms above you.
    • Make sure the valve is closed.
    • Pour the coffee enema into the douche container.
    • Open the valve and clear all the air gaps.
    • Then lubricate the tip of the catheter.
    • Lie down and let the concentration into the bowel slowly.
    • The fluid should be retained for 15 minutes before elimination.
