The liver is one of the most important organs of the human body. Apart from breaking down chemicals for producing energy, the liver also has a major contribution in producing antibodies. These antibodies fight against viral infections which enter the body. Also, liver is the hub for immunity. The body becomes defenseless if the immune system does not function properly. A healthy liver always helps in having a good health. Many gastroenterologists are confirming more cases of people having fatty livers. This is caused due to incorrect diet, alcohol intake, viral health and other causes.

Liver Detoxification: As people are becoming more and more aware of the decline of health due to unhealthy livers, they are looking for means to improve their liver condition. There is no big effort which goes into detoxifying the liver. The main source of toxins is our food. By restricting our diet and improving our food consumption we can improve the liver condition.

There are particular food types which are advised to be consumed for detoxifying the liver. Abstinence from particular types of food is also equally important to having good food. Some of the foods which are forbidden during liver detoxification are:

    • coffee
    • saturated food
    • packed food
    • processed food
    • foods with high sugar content
    • consumption of alcohol

Detoxification Diet: Following a strict detox diet will help in flushing the toxins from the liver. There are different nutrients which are required to detoxify the liver. For every detoxification, water is an essential product which helps in flushing out all the major toxins. Having 8-10 glasses of water daily during detoxification is important.

A diet which contains a lot of vitamin C helps in improving your immune system. All kinds of juices are good for flushing out toxic substances from the body. Nutrients like milk thistle, selenium and vitamin E are strong antibodies, which also detoxify your liver. By following this diet we can improve the liver condition and remove the fatty substances and make our liver strong and healthy.
