Gall bladder is an extended part of the liver. It is situated at the gall bladder fossa, which is above the liver. It is a hollow organ which stores bile juice. The size of the gall bladder is approximately 8 cms in length and 4 cms in diameter. It releases bile juice when there is food with fat content in them. Whenever such food enters the digestive tract, the gall bladder comes into function. Therefore, for the improvement of proper digestion, it is important to maintain gall bladder functioning. A healthy gall bladder will avoid many stomach-concerned infections and also is responsible for healthy digestion.
