    Steps for Detoxification From Caffeine

    The most common substance that is very addictive is caffeine. If you are used to consuming caffeine on a daily basis, then you can be quite dependant on it. Caffeine withdrawals come with a few sicknesses like irritability, drowsiness, headaches and even depression. Following a proper detoxification regime can help the body to detoxify from caffeine very quickly. Detoxification will also help in shortening the caffeine withdrawal symptoms and all-in-all it helps in reducing the negative side effects.

    Steps for Caffeine Detoxification
    Follow these simple steps to be able to detox yourself from caffeine:

    • The things that you will need for detoxification are water, whole grain food, vitamin supplements and alkaline diet.
    • Try to gradually reduce your caffeine intake. This can be attempted over a weeks time. During this week, anything to do with caffeine supplements like chocolates are also to be cut down. Reduce all your tea, coffee and soda intake only to once in a day.
    • While following the caffeine reduction process, make sure that you stop your caffeine intake. An alternative to avoid the caffeine can be by consuming herbal tea. However, choose your herbal tea products cautiously as a few products can contain caffeine in it.
    • Drink loads of water. In a day, you are required to drink at least 8 glasses of water all through the day. Keeping the body well hydrated will surely help in flushing out all the toxins from the body.
    • During your detoxification, consume an alkaline diet. Reduce your intake of refined flour, sugars and acidic foods. Also try to avoid seeds, baked goods and nuts. Increase your intake of fruits, greens, vegetables, tofu and sprouts.
    • Each and every day of your detox diet, make sure that you consume a minimum of 3-6 whole-grain food servings. Consuming fiber rich products are quite essential for the detox process. They help the body in flushing out all the harmful toxins.
    • Taking Vitamin C supplements at least twice a day. Also consume a B-complex and Zinc supplement at least once a day. In addition to these Vitamins, also take a multivitamin.

    Just by following these simple steps, you can surely detox your body from caffeine.
