    Colon Cleansing — Home-made Colon Cleanse Recipes

    Colon cleansing is intended to remove feces and other toxins form the colon and intestinal tract. While some are hydrotherapies, some are diets taken for this purpose. Colon cleansing is a type of dieting or fasting aimed at cleaning the colon. It is seen that by colon cleansing an individual experiences lightness in the body and gets better digestion capacity. In this article, you can know some of the colon cleanser recipes which you can prepare in your own house.

    Recipe 1: White Sultana Raisins

    • Take about 200 gms each of white sultana raisins, rose hips extract and senna.
    • Add white sultana raisins in water (about one liter of water) and in the same way prepare solution for senna.
    • Infuse these liquids for half an hour.
    • Once settled mix these liquids in a bottle.
    • Add few drops of rose hips extract and close the bottle
    • Let the solution cool

    Dosage: For effective colon cleansing, take atleast 100 gms of this liquid daily evening for about 16 days. However, it is best if you consult your doctor, to be on the safe side, before talking this recipe.

    Recipe 2: Ripe Plums-Honey-Jam Ingredients that you need are:

    • Ripe plums about 5 kgs
    • Honey 400 gm
    • Apple cider vinegar — one tablespoon
    • Tamarind Jam — one tablespoon

    Procedure: Put all plums and one-third of pits into a huge bowl. Fill the pot with water and boil it for an hour. Keep stirring. Then remove the pits and do the same. Let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes. Once it is cooled add other ingredients namely honey, tamarind jam and apple cider vinegar into it. Put this jam in a glass container and tightly seal it.

    Dosage: Tale one tablespoon of this jam early in the morning. This cleanses the colon of hardened stools or constipation.

    Recipe 3: Herbal tea colon cleanser
    This is special type of tea that does not have milk in it. Take 200 ml of water and boil it. Add 2 cloves and about 2 teaspoon crushed ginger in it. Add 5 to 6 holy basil and 3 to 4 mint leaves in it. Let the decoction be on fire for 5 minutes. When it turn brownish take off and let it cool. Then add one tablespoon of lemon juice. Drink it when it is lukewarm.

    Dosage: Take this tea for one month for best results. Talk to your doctor if you have acidity problems.
