    The One Day Juice Fasting

    Juice fasting or juice detox helps in regulating many body functions. It helps in colon cleansing, regulating bowel movements, making skin look clearer, efficient functioning of the liver and kidney and reducing stress levels. The one day juice fasting should avoid many food items like dairy products, refined sugar, corn products, gluten, alcoholic beverages, caffeine, food preservatives and additives. One should consume at least 8 glasses of water on the day.

    During the one day juice fasting, you should avoid performing all strenuous physical activities. Light breathing and stretching exercises can be done. It is the fast where in you attain relaxation and rejuvenate the body and mind.

    Juice Fasting Breakfast
    Begin the day with a glass of warm water with a little lemon juice added to it. This is the best way to flush out the body system. After half an hour, consume a glass of apple juice. You can also take carrot juice along with apple juice.

    Juice Fasting Brunch
    Take some herbal tea such as peppermint tea to help the detoxification process in the body. Consume a water-based fruit juice of your choice after a gap of half an hour.

    Juice Fasting Lunch
    Most of the people experience hunger pangs during lunch. Take juicing vegetables for lunch and have a glass full of water. After about half an hour, drink herbal tea with ginger added to it.
    Take a complete rest and do not perform any strenuous physical activities. Take more and more amounts of water.

    Juice Fasting Evening Snack
    Take juice of blueberries, cranberries or strawberries. You can also take mango juice and it is good to take during one day juice fast as it helps in getting rid of the feelings of hunger pangs.

    Juice Fasting Dinner
    For the dinner, take juices that help you to feel relaxed and sleepy. You can go for dinner detox juice recipes and make juices that prevent hunger pangs and gives you the feeling of fullness. Consume a glass of water.

    For relaxation, take an aromatherapy bath or listen to music. See to that you keep a glass of mango, apple or pineapple juice ready so that you can take if you feel hungry during the night.

    Note

    • Drink plenty of water the whole day on the juice fast.
    • Begin the following day with taking fresh fruits and vegetables.
