    How to Do a Raw Food Detox Diet to Lose Weight

    Raw food diet is one of the perfect ways to cleanse the body from all harmful toxins and is ideal for loosing weight. When compared to cooked food, raw foods are considered to be rich in vitamins and nutrients. This is because, when the food is cooked, they tend to loose the nutritional value. If you want to lose weight or just cleanse your system, simply follow this raw food detox diet to get that perfect, desired results.

    Steps for Raw Food Detox

    The following simple steps will help you to do a raw food detox diet to lose weight:

    • Most of the raw food detox diets are generally vegan foods. So, anything to do with sea food or meat are totally eliminated. The detox diet would mostly include milk, honey and eggs.
    • The diet goes strictly by it’s name. Anything cooked, cannot be eaten.
    • Eat a lot of organic food. You can have foods like fruits, herbs, nuts and vegetables. If you are including nuts in your detox diet, make sure that they are not salted or roasted. Salt is absolutely not allowed in your detox diet.
    • During you detox diet, drink plenty of water. You need to drink a minimum of 10 glasses of water per day. You can also drink fresh vegetable and fruit juices.
    • Have loads of salads. You can experiment with your food and make your own recipes.
    • Choose fruits, nuts, raw grains and vegetables that would help balance your vitamins and nutrients intake.
    • The peels contain most of the nutrients. A majority of nutrients are mostly found near the fruits and vegetables skin areas. However, a fruits and vegetables like papaya, carrots and cucumber have to be peeled and then eaten.

    Following a raw food detox diet to lose weight is quite easy and simple the best part is, it does not take much effort.
