    Seven Days Fasting Diet: This type of fasting diet is recommended to people who are detoxifying for the first time. Basically, the diet consists of lemon juice and green tea. The fast lasts for seven days and has substantial affect on your body. Since it is the first time, the body reacts more and flushes out toxins from your body. Fasting means avoiding the intake of food. And this is precisely what you have to put into practice. Have ample liquids. Lemon juice is widely suggested for its large content of vitamin C. It improves your immunity and also gives energy. Initially you will lose a lot of weight and along with the fat, the toxins in your body are also shed.

    One Month Fasting Diet: The second type of fasting diet is the one month fasting diet. In the first few weeks, strict fasting is followed. Except fluids you have to abstain from any kind of food intake. This will help you wash out all the toxins and will cleanse your blood vessels. After this, you have to slowly have small quantities of food regularly – mostly fruits and raw vegetables. Whole grains are also very good diet food as they have a lot of fiber.

    Weekly Fasting Diet: This kind of diet program is followed once every three days, that is almost twice a week. You have to eat once in every three days. You can follow normal diet in the process. This regimen will help you in understanding the real purpose of eating. Tremendous success rate was observed in people who practiced this type of fasting. It helps you shed weight and more importantly cleanses your body, helping you stay toxin-free.
