    How to do Water Fasting to Lose Weight

    Most people follow water fasting to lose weight. It is the most easiest and won’t even cost a dime. Not just for losing weight, but a few people do it for medical and religious reasons too. Water fasting is quite beneficial, it helps the body to flush out all the toxins and wastes from the body. It will keep you energized and the beauty of it is that it is also believed to clear the skin.

    Tips: Here are a few tips that you need to consider while doing a water fast.

    • When the body is being supplied with more water, it tries to flush out the excess water stored in the belly, ankles, hips and thighs. Basically, when you increase your water intake, the body will in turn flush out most of the things that it does not require and this results in weight loss.
    • During the fast, make sure that you take vitamin supplements. This will help the body in receiving the right nutrients and keeps it healthy. A multi-vitamin is the ideal thing to take during a water fast.
    • Water fasting helps to cleanse the kidneys. A majority of people are not used to drinking much water and this results in the kidney storing waste and harmful substances. This makes the liver to work further on the kidneys’ duties as well. Cleansing the kidneys will help the liver to stay more focused on eliminating the stored fat from the body.
    • It helps in effective exercising, basically water helps the muscles to be lubricated. When the muscles are supplied with enough water, they tend to contract more easily. This will result in effective workouts and the subsequent weight loss.
    • When you start a water fast, make sure that you stick through the whole of the fast. Be it for 3 days or 7 days, stick to your regime and only then would you see the desired results.

    Water fast to lose weight is quite common and it is easy to follow. All you need is a little bit of motivation.
